  • hey.  this is mary just saying a couple things about what i learned over the summer.

    1)  babies and mothers are being sold into the slavery of deception, bondage, and murder every day...  their lives are valuable and beautiful...  all they need is the redemptive LOVE we call Jesus Christ.

    2)  it's okay to be crazy about what you believe in.  if it's the right thing, nobody can stop you.

    3)  even in the middle of a very, very dark world...  Jesus' hope is radiant.  babies are saved all the time, and girls are turning to Jesus for help and change!

    4)  godly, brave, passionate, pure, and loving friends are absolutely priceless.

yeah that's pretty much the basics.  compassion + passion = change.

  • Yesterday at the Newport News Clinic i talked to a woman named April. I was able to give her all the information, and she took the literature with her into the clinic. About 1/2 hour later, she and her (boyfriend?) came back out. I went over and asked them if they had decided to cancel their appointment, and they said yes, they wanted more time to look over the information and research the alternatives.

i gave her my cell phone number, and i'm praying that she will call me and ask for our help to keep her baby safe.

a baby was saved that day, and we all need to keep praying that she will firmly decide not to reschedule her appointment.

this is really urgent. a life is hanging in the balance. the soonest that they could reschedule the appointment is monday morning. be praying that GOD will continue to interfere with any murder plans, and that they would seek our help.

    please pray. right now.

    thanks.

  • Thankyou to all who came out to the PRAYER SEIGE last saturday. Your intercession really makes a difference, we can't always see theresults immediately, but God says that when we pray he listens, and when we call out to him he will save. In faith, we believe and trust that he means what he says.

Yesterday (tuesday) at Ingleside, a baby was saved!! : )
Laci was at the driveway and handed out literature to a woman and her teenage daughter. The woman stopped, but responded to the information with a curt, "i've already prayed about it" and it seemed that she was just in a hurry to get into the clinic. About 15 minutes later, they drove out of the parking lot and rolled down their window saying, "you've saved at least one baby today. Thankyou."

That is why we are there. We want God to use us to save lives. It's not that we have extreme persuasion skills, or are good at speeches. No, we are just normal people that are obeying Gods call to defend life.

All it takes is a willing attitude, a love for life and justice, and the boldness to speak the simple truth.

    October 1-7 is "LIFE Week"
We are extending an invitation to everyone to give two hours of their time during the week, to protect the unborn. It's still 2 months away, so start praying about how you can get involved in the war against murder.

Thankyou for reading all of that...
    God bless you today!
